Writing to music brings out a whole slew of emotions. My Itunes folders are listed according to the type of scenes I'm writing. Writing to "Don't worry be Happy" when Waleron and Delara are fighting or having an intense moment filled with their emotions just won't mesh. With the way their emotions are on a roller coaster of  electricity, it would be Paramore or maybe Leona Lewis's "Run".
Sometimes if I have a moment of uncertainty regarding a scene or sentence, I close my eyes and listen to the music to feel the emotion I want to portray in the scene. I want every word or gesture coming from my characters to be exactly what 'they' would do or say. It would be unlike Jedrik to be in a scene without giving some kind of smart ass remark. That is how he deals.
I love every genre of music (okay, almost every genre). I can have country song playing and the next song is pop or rock then Celtic. This way I'm almost always listening to fresh music as constantly there are new songs coming out to be downloaded that I can mix into my folders. The newest song I purchased is Leroy Bell's "Dream of Peace". What a remarkable voice.
I do have one song that I listen to more than any other and that's "More Time" by Needtobreathe. I never hear it on the radio which keeps it fresh and the song kicks butt.
The sex scenes, well that is another story . . . .

Well, JUMP is now available at http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/134463 and I'm so excited! The joy of having people from around the world read something I am so passionate about is indescribable.
For my first post I want to say THANK YOU for those that have written reviews. I am truly honoured. This is embarrassing but true, I actually cried when I saw how much the readers loved my novel and my characters. When you put so much of your heart into something and others truly appreciate and understand it, the overwhelming feeling is incredible. Again thank you :)
